Thanks for joining the list. Here’s the routine we run before every single recording session. It’s simple on purpose: most great extraction footage comes from great prep, not from pressing harder.

1. Double cleanse (2 minutes)

Start with a cleansing oil on dry skin, like DHC Deep Cleansing Oil. Massage for a full minute, add water to emulsify, rinse. Follow with a gentle cleanser like CeraVe SA Cleanser. Clean skin means cleaner tools and a clearer view.

2. Soften (5 to 10 minutes)

Warm steam from a NanoSteamer or a warm washcloth. Sit comfortably, not too close. The goal is warm and relaxed skin, not hot skin.

3. Extract gently (10 minutes, max)

Wipe your tool with rubbing alcohol. Center a loop over the blackhead, press lightly and slide. Two gentle tries per spot, then move on. If it doesn’t release, it isn’t ready. Our Pore Tube Extractor Kit gives you the right head for every area.

4. Calm and hydrate (2 minutes)

Pat on an alcohol-free toner like Thayers toner, then a hydrating essence like COSRX Snail Essence. Skip strong acids and retinoids tonight.

5. Cool down (1 minute)

Finish with a chilled roller like our Pore Tube Dual Ice Roller. It’s the part of the routine everyone ends up looking forward to.
