How to Clean and Store Your Extraction Tools

Clean tools are non-negotiable. It takes two minutes and it’s the most important habit in this whole hobby.

Before every session

Wash your hands, then wipe every tool you’ll use with 70% rubbing alcohol and let it air dry.

After every session

  1. Rinse off residue under warm water.
  2. Wash with a little soap and a soft brush.
  3. Disinfect with 70% rubbing alcohol.
  4. Dry completely before storing.
  5. Store in a clean case, like the zip case in our Pore Tube Extractor Kit.

Gadgets

For a Pore Tube Pore Vacuum, remove and wash the heads after each use and let them dry fully. For an Pore Tube Ultrasonic Scrubber, wipe the blade and keep water away from the charging port. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
